हमारे बारे में | About Us
Gyanshakti Pashupalan Foundation
A Pan-India NGO rooted in compassion, service, and the belief that a nation's strength lies in the health of its animals, its land, and its people.
Our Story
Born from a Calling to Serve
Gyanshakti Pashupalan Foundation was established with a singular conviction — that the welfare of animals and the empowerment of farming communities are inseparable from India's progress. Founded by a group of dedicated social workers, veterinarians, and rural development professionals, the Foundation began its journey in the heartland of India, witnessing first-hand the suffering of stray and injured animals and the daily struggles of small and marginal farmers.
What started as localised rescue and relief operations has grown into a structured, Pan-India movement. Today, the Foundation operates across 18 states, running mobile veterinary units, livestock development camps, wildlife conservation drives, farmer empowerment workshops, and health education programmes in partnership with the Government of India.
We are guided by the ancient Indian principle of 'Ahimsa' — non-violence and compassion towards all living beings — and by the modern imperative of sustainable rural development. Every programme we run, every animal we rescue, and every farmer we support is a step towards a more just and compassionate India.
"Serving Animals, Honouring Farmers"
Our Vision
A compassionate, prosperous India where every animal is protected, every farmer is empowered, and every community lives in harmony with nature.
Our Mission
To rescue, rehabilitate, and advocate for animals; to develop and support livestock-dependent farming communities; to conserve India's wildlife heritage; and to spread health education and awareness across rural and urban India — in partnership with government, civil society, and communities.
